ABOUT ECHO 

Hotel Echo Bad Gastein was originally built in 1866, with restaurant and spa bath. Now it is a guesthouse for overnight stay and breakfast.
In December 2017, the hotel was reopened by a new owner, Henriikka, from Helsinki, Finland. The hotel is now rented and managed by, Raymond, Demian & Jennecke from the Netherlands.

We wish to retain the traditional Austrian style of the house. With the respect of the old building, we are aiming for a warm and welcoming vibe. Combining old and new, we believe we can offer our guests an unforgettable, feeling like home experience in the beautiful Austrian Alps.

 

Every room in Echo is unique. Our nine hotel rooms all come with a double bed, WC, shower or bathtub, TV and stunning view. Most of the rooms also have up to two extra beds. We also have one Apartment with a kitchenette, it sleeps up to four.

We are welcoming you to stay with us both summer and winter.

How to get to Echo

BY CAR We offer all our driving guests free parking directly at the hotel 

​

BY TRAIN Less than a 10 min walk from the Bad Gastein train station. TIP to avoid uphill! Don't trust Google Maps, turn right coming out of train station, then left after Eurospar, at the end of the road turn left again. 

​

BY PLANE Airports SZG, MUC, VIE are all an easy train ride away. Check also affordable rental cars or ask us for a private taxi shuttle.
